Shorelinechanges Modeling 1

Investigation of shoreline changes in the project area, particularly due to human activities and construction of several projects in the area, is one of the most important parts of coastal engineering studies and can be the outline for many of hydrodynamic and sediment studies in the study area. The importance of study and the complex nature of process of the changes require using all available information such as air photos, satellite images and bathymetry data together with mathematical modeling in order to obtain appropriate and realistic results. A sample result of the described modeling processes is presented in Figure 1.
