2D Modeling of tidal currents

 Modeling of tidal currents in the study area is performed to understand the governing patterns considering intensity of currents in the area. Hence, hydrography data are interpolated over the calculation domain (Figure 1) and measurements are employed in order to calibrate the numerical model. A sample of calibration results is presented in Figure 2. Model results are obtained as current pattern as well as point data in different parts of the bay. Figure 3 presents a sample of current pattern in the Chabahar Bay.
